upstreet is an award-winning annual anthology containing new fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and an interview in each issue with an author such as Jim Shepard, Lydia Davis, Wally Lamb, Michael Martone, Dani Shapiro, and Joan Wickersham. The editorial staff members have been selected for their love of the written word, their high standards of literary judgment, and their desire to offer a voice to writers who might not find publication opportunities in more mainstream journals.
